ECU Flasher Programmer kit

This ECU flasher can be programmed with 3 different programs so you can change your programming depending where you are traveling. 

1. Original programing

2. Original programming with increased horse power

3. For overseas travel: DEF delete, closing of the EGR, increased horsepower.

Why Do You Need This?

Many modern vehicles have technology that is not suitable for travel to countries including Mexico, Asia, Africa, and South America.

Higher elevations (over 4000 meters) can also pose a challenge.

In addition, diesel fuel in many countries including North America can lead to problems with DEF and DPF systems.

This could result in being stranded or putting you in limp mode with limited speed, range and/or power.

Some of the benefits:

1. Mechanically close off your EGR through programming
2. Shut down your DEF system. 
3. Increase horse power and torque by around 15%
4. Better gas mileage
5. Help prevent trucks from going into limp mode or double limp mode caused by the DEF or DPF systems.
6. Better performance at higher elevations (The customer must let us know this is a requirement)
7. Run your vehicle in locations/countries where DEF fluid is not readily available.
8. Operate your truck on low-sulfur diesel fuels when ultra-low diesel fuels are not available.

Basic procedure

1. We mail the Flash device to the customer
2. Customer connects Flash device to their truck and downloads file from their ECU
3. Customer hooks the Flash device to their computer and downloads file
4. Customer emails us the file
5. We read your vehicle-specific information and make 2 new programs
6. We email the 2 new files to the customer
7. Customer downloads the files to their computer
8. Customer connects Flash device to their computer and uploads the 2 new files to Flash device
9. Customer connects Flash device to their truck
10. Customer changes programs to whichever of the 3 programs they want to use from their flash device
